Cocteau Twins

I am starting to appreciate Cocteau Twins' music. Elizabeth Fraser’s vocal cords touch any human's soul with melancholy and nostalgia in an indescribable way (partly maybe because you can’t really decipher what she’s saying!).The band has been active from 1979- 1997. I first found out about them when their song, Alice was used in the movie he Lovely Bones.

Their songs have been playing on and on in my play list. I just want to share it with you.

What she was saying actually goes like this:

LORELEI

Can't look out, can't look in
Can't kiss right
Get yourself get right
Lift up your toes, in my mouth
We'll make love and we can go

And we can go
And we can go

We're covered by the sacred fire
But when you cut me, you cut me to the bone

Without a doubt

We're covered by the sacred fire
But when you cut me, you cut me to the bone

Can't look in
Guilty boy, guilty girl
Cause you're both cursed
Lift up your toes in my mouth
We'll make love and we can go

Can't look in
Guilty boy, guilty girl
Cause you're both cursed
Lift up your toes in my mouth
We'll make love and we can go
